Executive Management Team

The executive team of Unicity International, Inc. comprises six individuals, each of whom brings relevant and practical experience to the Company. During the past two years, the executive team has work to resolve outstanding issues that were a result of the Company being a very small part of a much larger organization. Since the acquisition of the Company, current management has been effective in executing the Company’s business strategy to date.



As owner and CEO, Paulo is welcomed in Unicity markets around the world as a leader and innovator in the direct selling industry. He has held several leadership positions in the U.S. Direct Selling Association and served on an ethics task force for the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations. In 1993, Paulo Bangerter joined Enrich International, a predecessor to Unicity, as Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary. During his tenure with Unicity and its predecessor companies, Paulo has developed an evangelical zeal for the company, its mission, and its products that naturally led him to purchase the company in July of 2003. Prior to joining Unicity, Paulo served as General Counsel for two high-tech software firms, both of which grew through mergers he supervised. He also has experience in private practice of law in the field of commercial litigation. He received a Juris Doctorate Degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. Paulo has extensive international experience. He was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil and has lived several years in Brazil and Portugal. He speaks Portuguese and Spanish.



Aaron Webber has spent his entire career in global marketing and sales. As a native of New Zealand, Aaron brings a unique perspective to a global company, headquartered in the United States. He managed virtually every business function in his career with Elmon Enterprises, a direct selling company based in New Zealand, including a role as General Manager of their Australian subsidiary. He led a group of investors who bought the company and became Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the new entity, Pacific Marketing Alliance Limited. In the first year of operation under his leadership, Pacific Marketing Alliance more than doubled sales and increased profits four-fold. In 1997, Aaron came to Enrich International and was instrumental in opening many of Unicity’s markets in Asia. He held positions of increasing responsibility as Director, International Sales, and Vice President, Asia and Pacific, as he was successful in growing the overseas markets. He held the position of Executive Vice President, Sales with Unicity Network, when he joined Paulo Bangerter in purchasing the company and establishing Unicity International in July 2003. Aaron studied at the University of Auckland in Auckland, New Zealand before completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.



As CFO, Mr. Hedges has achieved numerous improvements in accounting, financial reporting, internal controls and cash management areas of the business. He has implemented robust cost controls and cash management processes throughout Unicity’s global markets resulting in significantly improved cost structures and cash management controls. Mr. Hedges came to Unicity International after a long, distinguished career in all facets of financial management, in both public and private companies. He was Vice President and Corporate Controller for Compass Learning Corporation, a privately held corporation based in Phoenix, Arizona and Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for Wicat Systems, a publicly traded, multinational firm in Orem, Utah. Mr. Hedges has been most successful in creating effective cash management and accounting systems and in improving cost structures in every company for which he has worked. He also has considerable experience in managing information systems departments and in implementing new software systems. Mr. Hedges received a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and passed the CPA exam for the State of Utah.



As CMO, Mr. Clare has the responsibly for defining global marketing strategies and programs, which include corporate branding, public relations, product research and science, field development and training, product branding, and web/internet architectures and services. Mr. Clare is also responsible for the company’s IT department implementing new services and tools to assist in better marketing and supporting global marketing programs. Mr. Clare’s responsibility in product research and design involve developing new products to bring to market as well as maintain and enhance the product formulations and marketing growth of existing products. Mr. Clare has a BS of Science from Brigham Young University and over 20 years of marketing, business development, and corporate strategy background. Mr. Clare has been responsible for significantly re-branding and re-positioning Unicity as a health, nutrition, educational company through the re-design of the company logo, company brochures, product brochures, web site architecture, strategic business team training, and product education programs. Prior to joining Unicity, Mr. Clare had his own consulting business specializing in HealthCare automation and business process reengineering. Mr. Clare has also worked for hi-tech software companies including WordPerfect Corporation, Novell Inc., and Evergreen International being involved in corporate branding, advertising, product development, product marketing, software development, consulting and training programs, and research and development.



Mr. Morrill is responsible for all aspects of product manufacturing, purchasing, warehousing, order fulfillment and logistics throughout Unicity’s global markets. Since assuming responsibility for Operations, Mr. Morrill has achieved significant improvements in overall efficiency by implementing robust inventory management and purchasing processes as well as a leading-edge production-planning model. He also implemented several cost reduction initiatives to reduce cost of goods as well as freight and warehousing expenditures. Prior to joining Unicity in 2003, Mr. Morrill held several executive positions at Ford Motor Company over a twelve-year period. His experience included key assignments in manufacturing, purchasing, production engineering, business development, investor relations, and corporate finance. Mr. Morrill was responsible for numerous business groups in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. While at Ford Motor Company, Mr. Morrill led several break-through initiatives to reduce costs, improve processes, grow revenue, develop strategic partners, and improve overall health of the business entity. Mr. Morrill has a B.S. Degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Brigham Young University.



With a strong background in law and international business and a deep commitment to a holistic approach to health and to natural health care products, Mr. Johnson is well suited to lead the development of Unicity’s global markets. Since joining Unicity in early 2004, Mr. Johnson led a significant improvement in Unicity’s Europe operations, established stability in the Canadian market and launched a robust strategy for Venezuela and Columbia. Mr. Johnson also played a key role in the continued development of Unicity’s businesses in Japan, Hong Kong and SE Asia. Prior to joining Unicity, Mr. Johnson was Chief Executive Officer of Young Living Essential Oils, an international network marketing company with nutrition-oriented products. While CEO at Young Living, Mr. Johnson was very successful in growing sales and profitability as well as establishing Young Living within the nutritional healthcare industry. Prior to Young Living, Mr. Johnson held several positions in law, management and business including his practice of law with one of the premier law firms in the State of Texas, corporate counsel for Zions Bank, and President of a software development company. Mr. Johnson was also General Counsel for a company in Tokyo, Japan with operations throughout Asia and Europe, as well as the U.S. and Canada. In this capacity, Mr. Johnson lived and worked in Japan for six years and speaks Japanese fluently. He has traveled abroad extensively, particularly in the Pacific Rim. Mr. Johnson received a B.S. Degree in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy Degree from the Marriott School of Management and a Juris Doctorate Degree (cum laude) from the J. Reuben Clark Law School, all at Brigham Young University.
